Why Acacia?

There are many different fraternities to choose from at the University of Texas. As members of Texas Acacia we like to think of ourselves as unique. We thrive on diversity. Our low dues promote this economic and racial diversity. Also, "Acacia" isn't your typical fraternity name. We are the only fraternity in the world to use a Greek word instead of Greek letters. The uniqueness of our fraternity is ever more present when you step into our house. All of the men of Acacia share the bond of everlasting brotherhood which cannot be broken. We dedicate ourselves to building leaders and enriching young men with skills that will last a lifetime.

Our West Campus residence is located on 2614 Rio Grande. It offers 20 bedrooms with suite bathrooms which are very well kept. We have a basketball court size social room with a big screen TV and lounge area. We have a restaurant size kitchen, a study, and a back yard with barbecue grills. To top it off, we have a parking lot in the back of the house, and we are located only five minutes from campus.

If you have never thought about joining a fraternity, this may be the one for you. We are an organization of men in a fraternity; not an organization of frat guys.
